New Import approach

Starting from version 10.73.8047 of SQLWays Toolkit, we implemented a new approach of import for following Target databases:

  • EnterpriseDB PPA
  • Greenplum
  • MariaDB
  • MSSQL
  • MySQL
  • Oracle
  • PostgreSQL
  • SinglestoreDB.


For now

  • .bat files are not created;
  • all important attributes for the import are saved in “import-data” file;

  • if the conversion is performed in Trace Mode, the creation of a trace file for the import stage is added.

Our tool allows you to run all processes via Command Line Window or shell script.

We have also retained the ability to use the old approach of import.

To switch the import process into old way you should set up the following values for options (information on how to set options can be found here):
[_WZD_COMMON]
GCMD=sqlways_all.bat
LEGACY_IMPORT=Yes
