When importing into a PostgreSQL database, if the “Remove schema names in SQL objects” option is set to “None” or “Default” and/or a non-existent schema name is specified:

Causes

This error message appears when trying to import into a PostgreSQL schema that does not exist in the target database.

Solutions

The tool does not generate schemas itself. To resolve this issue, you can do one of the following:

1. manually create a schema in the target database before starting the conversion;
2. use the Remove Schema Names option;
3. use the Change schema names option and specify the name of the existing schema.
