Windows: System Requirements
If you use Ispirer Toolkit to migrate databases, it is not required to install it on the same computer where the target or source databases are located. Ispirer Toolkit can be installed on any computer which meets the software and hardware requirements and has a corresponding network connection to the location of databases or files that are being migrated in the case the toolkit is installed on another computer.

| Memory | At least 8GB of free memory (32GB recommended). If you are going to migrate more than 10 000 Lines of Code (LoC), we recommend you to extend the storage capacity: |
| For 10 000 - 50 000 LoC - min 16 GB is required; | |
| For 50 000 - 200 000 LoC - min 32 GB is required; | |
| More than 200 000 LoC - min 64 GB is required. | |
| Free space | At least 500 MB of free space in the installation location (additional space required for export files, the volume is defined by the volume of the information exported from the source database). SSD Hard Drive is recommended. |

Also please ensure you have administrator rights to install Ispirer Toolkit on Windows OS.
For database migration using Ispirer Toolkit the following items are needed:
- Database client software.
- ODBC-driver (only for connection to the source database).
If you are using Ispirer Migration Studio please note that it requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 (or later) to be installed. If the framework is not installed you will be asked to do that at the first launch of the Studio.
