General Information about Data Collection

Ispirer InsightWays collects user behavior data, including:

• Clicks;
• Time spent on pages;
• Location information (using the IPinfo service).

The collected data reflects only user behavior while interacting with the tool. It is completely anonymous, and Ispirer has no means of identifying the user. Data is transmitted only if the user's computer has an active Internet connection. If the user agrees to data collection but is offline, the data is stored in local files until an Internet connection becomes available.

On the first launch, the user must choose whether they agree to share this data.

The user can change their preference in the Settings menu by clicking the InsightWays icon in the upper left corner.

Alternatively, the setting can be changed in the InsightWays configuration file:

Ubuntu:

~/.config/Ispirer/SQLWays 10 InsightWays/

Windows:

C:\Users\john.doe\AppData\Local\Ispirer\SQLWays 10 InsightWays\

Analytics collected by the tool is stored in the analytics folder:

Ubuntu:

~/.config/Ispirer/SQLWays 10 InsightWays/analytics

Windows:

C:\Users\john.doe\AppData\Local\Ispirer\SQLWays 10 InsightWays\analytics

All data stored on the computer is encrypted.
